Rule of thumb: the 64GB is the lowest-priced way in and plenty if you offload every day. 4K eats space, so weekend-trip shooters should spend the extra $20 on 128GB. The On-the-Go Combo is for anyone who already knows they want more mounting options.

Does it need the dock to record?
No. The camera records on its own, which is how you wear it. The Vision Dock adds a live view, remote start/stop, fast charging and extended run time, and it's where the camera lives between shots.
How long does the camera run by itself?
The 200-minute figure is camera plus fully charged dock at 1080p/24. On its own the camera runs for a shorter stretch, and 20 minutes on the dock gets it back to 80%. For long rides, keep it docked between segments.
Is it waterproof?
The camera body is waterproof to 10 m without a case. The Vision Dock is IPX4, so rain and splashes are fine; don't take the dock swimming.
Does it take a memory card?
No. 64 GB is built in. Transfer footage over the included USB 3.1 cable or to your phone.
128GB or 64GB?
At 4K, 64 GB fills up over a long day. If you offload nightly, 64 is fine; for trips and weekends, 128.
Is it a replacement for an Osmo Action?
Different tool. The Nano is for wearing and mounting where an action cam is too big or heavy, with a dock that keeps it running. If you want a bigger screen and a traditional action-cam shape, look at Osmo Action.
