DRONE NERDS RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES
Potensic ATOM 2 8K photos. Under 249 g. Ready to fly.
A pocket-size camera drone with a 1/2-inch Sony sensor on a true 3-axis mechanical gimbal: 48 MP stills with 8K image quality, 4K/30 HDR video and P-Log color. The Standard Kit is everything you need to start: the drone, a remote that uses your phone as the screen, and one battery for up to 32 minutes of flight.
Pro-grade imaging
in a 249 g body.
A bigger Sony sensor, a bright F1.8 lens and 4-in-1 pixel technology pull in more light, for cleaner color and stronger low-light shots than you'd expect from a drone this size.

Questions we get
about ATOM 2.
Straight answers before you order.
Do I need to register it?
Not for recreational flying in the US: ATOM 2 is under 249 g. You still need the free TRUST certificate, and commercial use requires Part 107. Remote ID is built in.
Do I need a phone to fly it?
Yes. The remote holds your phone, which runs the Potensic Eve app as the live view and control screen. Prefer a built-in screen? Look at ATOM 2 with Screen Remote.
What phone does the Potensic Eve app need?
iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 7.0 or later. Potensic recommends a device with 4 GB of RAM or more.
How long does it fly?
Up to 32 minutes per battery, with one in this kit. Add batteries and the 60W hub, or step up to the Fly More Combo with three batteries.
Will it follow me?
Yes. AI Track locks onto a subject you frame and keeps it in shot with Spotlight, Follow or Parallel modes.
Is it waterproof?
No. Like most camera drones in its class, ATOM 2 isn't rated for water or rain, so fly it in dry conditions.
