Rule of thumb: this is the combo for most buyers. Two extra batteries, the hub and the bag cost more separately than the step up, and 31 minutes alone runs out fast on a trip. The single-battery box is for occasional flyers.

Not for recreational flying in the US. The Flip is under 249 g at takeoff, so no FAA registration. You still need the free TRUST certificate; commercial use needs Part 107 and registration regardless of weight.

Flip is the vlog camera drone: prop guard, palm launch, one-tap smart shots, lowest price. Mini 5 Pro is the camera drone: 1-inch sensor, omnidirectional sensing, longer flight time. If you film yourself and family, Flip. If you chase landscapes, Mini 5 Pro.
2 GB is built in, enough for a few emergency clips. Add a microSD for real shooting.
