Straight answers before you order.
Do I need to register it?
Not for recreational flying in the US: ATOM 2 is under 249 g. You still need the free TRUST certificate, and commercial use requires Part 107. Remote ID is built in.
Do I need a phone to fly it?
No. The PTD 1 Screen Remote in this kit has its own 5.5-inch display. You'll use the Potensic Eve app on your phone for SmartTransfer downloads and sharing.
What phone does the Potensic Eve app need?
iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 7.0 or later. Potensic recommends a device with 4 GB of RAM or more.
How long does it fly?
Up to 32 minutes per battery, so up to 96 minutes with the three batteries in this combo. The parallel hub recharges all three in about 1.3 hours.
Will it follow me?
Yes. AI Track locks onto a subject you frame and keeps it in shot with Spotlight, Follow or Parallel modes.
Is it waterproof?
No. Like most camera drones in its class, ATOM 2 isn't rated for water or rain, so fly it in dry conditions.
