Medium or Large, how do I choose?
Measure your IPD, the distance between your pupils, with RayNeo's free phone tool at ipd.rayneo.com. 64 to 67 mm is Medium, over 67 mm is Large. The right size puts your eyes in the sharpest part of the picture.
Will it work with my phone?
If your phone outputs video over USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode), yes, with just the cable. That includes iPhone 15, 16 and 17 series and many Android phones. iPhone 16e, 17e and Air don't support it. Lightning iPhones need Apple's Digital AV Adapter plus the RayNeo HDMI Adapter.
Can I use it with PS5, Xbox or Switch?
Yes, through an adapter. PS5, Xbox and PCs connect with the RayNeo HDMI Adapter. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 connect with the RayNeo JoyDock; Switch 2 also needs the back clip.
I wear glasses. Can I use GT Max?
Yes. RayNeo's lens partner Lensology makes custom prescription inserts that clip into GT Max.
Do I need the Pocket TV Pro?
No. GT Max works on its own with any compatible device. Pocket TV Pro adds Google TV, streaming apps and storage in a pocket-size box, and it's required for Dolby Vision.
Can people next to me hear it?
The open-ear speakers aim sound at you, and it's hard to hear clearly from about 1.5 m away. In quiet places, switch to Whisper Mode by holding the volume rocker.
Does it drain my phone?
The glasses draw power from the connected device, so some extra battery use and warmth are normal. The RayNeo XR app's Eco Mode and Auto-Dim dim the phone screen while you watch, and the RayNeo USB-C Adapter lets you charge while you use them.
