Design Inspired by Nature
The Parrot ANAFI USA propeller blades use a leading edge similar to the shape of the fins of humpback whales for better propulsive efficiency. The design increases thrust for the same rotation speed, an effect comparable to rotor diameter enlargement. The design also reduces acoustic noise, particularly the tonal noise proceeding from the edge.
Maintenance Extends Lifespan
Propeller blades are delicate pieces of equipment and are instrumental for flight integrity. Even minor contact with external elements (walls, tree branches, etc.) can cause damage that may not be visible.
ANAFI USA propeller blades have been designed for instant, no tool replacement. A set of four includes two A props and two B props. One of these prop kits suffices for a full drone prop replacement.
Parrot recommends that you replace the propeller blades:
- if they sustain even minor contact with the environment;
- every 50 flight hours, as part of scheduled maintenance.
