DJI Inspire 2 Parts & Accessories
Your DJI Inspire 2 is the most capable four-rotor flying camera available. Inspire 2 parts and accessories from DroneNerds.com keep it that way and tap its built-in capabilities. Shooting schedules demand that your Inspire 2 quadcopter is flight-ready. A production delay will cost far more than extra batteries, a charging hub or spare propellers.
Available Inspire 2 parts and accessories include:
- Maintenance parts, such as propellers and GPS module
- Complete gimbal-mounted cameras, the X4S and X5S
- Extra batteries and battery chargers, including charging hubs
- Recording devices, including CINESSDs of varying capacities and connectors
- Remote controllers and focus handwheels
Replacement and Maintenance Parts
Drone parts wear out, even on the professional Inspire 2. Drone Nerds lets you inventory parts so you won’t delay a single scene. You’ll find spare propellers, sold in pairs. There are also Quick Release Propeller Mounting Plates, which take the brunt of wear from the speeding propellers. You have to be able to send your flying camera back out to the exact shooting location after a battery switch, so you’ll find a spare GPS module for your remote controller.
The Inspire 2 was sold originally as a flying platform, with cameras optional. Both DJI cameras for the Inspire 2 are available: the fixed-lens X4S and the interchangeable-lens X5S. Each is mounted on a stabilizing 3-axis gimbal.
The X4S, combined with the Inspire 2 processor, can deliver 4K video at 60 fps, and H.264 and H.265 at 100Mbs. Stills are recorded at 20.8MP, in 14 fps bursts, in JPEG and DNG formats. The X5S, combined with the Inspire 2 processing program, delivers 5.2K video at 30 fps, 4K video at 60 fps, and 20.8MP stills in 20 fps bursts. These cameras can be drone-mounted or reserved as spares.
Intelligent Flight Batteries, Charging Hubs
With quick battery swaps an imperative, so are extra batteries. Remember: The Inspire 2 uses two TB50 batteries. A charging hub can replenish two batteries in 90 minutes, and four batteries in three hours. Each pair of batteries can keep the Inspire 2 aloft for up to 27 minutes but will drain faster if the drone is self-heating in cold weather or using an X5S camera.
CINESSD Recording Devices
A CINESSD recorder is especially important because it supports FAT 32 and exFAT file formats. It uses an NVMe logical device interface specification. The CINESSD comes in a 120, 240 or 480GB capacity. Also available is the DJI CINESSD Station, which connects the CINESSD to a computer for fast file transfer for post-production.
Order a second Inspire 2 remote controller for use by the photographer in a slave arrangement, or as a backup controller. Also available is a Focus Handwheel, which allows ergonomic focusing from the remote controller.
